THE CHAMP is done!!!! We are making the master print tomorrow and taking that to a duplicating house to make DVD's. Big ups to LANDON WILLIAMS for amazing color correction, ARAM MANDOSSIAN for a epic soundtrack, NABEEL ABUL-ELA for terrific sound design (and the most hillarious boxing related foley session in short film history), and ofcourse HONOR STUDENT for cutting together a great story. We will be contacting everyone and possibly scheduling a screening soon.... as of now THE CHAMP has been submitted to 3 major film festivals so keep your fingers crossed.

In other news, MARCO KHAN (aka THE BRUTE) will be packing his bags, saddling up, and getting his CAVEMAN on in the huge epic 10,000 B.C.. 17 weeks on location in New Zealand and South Africa. NOT quite as luxurious as 3 nights in Santa Clarita, but I guess you got to take what you can get. Great job Marco... we wish you the best.

We should finish up the picture editing by Sunday and the great ARAM will begin composing a fitting soundtrack for this beast. The deadline is mid-February and I am cutting together the BEHIND THE SCENES documentary, which will be posted on the official CHAMP website which will launch soon. I will continue to update on this blog and post the URL as soon as I get the website up and running. I think everyone will like the trailer and the docu.... Simone is the man and did a great job filming all the behind the scenes.
In other news.... our fine producer, Jesse, just recently filmed a short with his brother and it has made it big on the internet.

We will be having a crew meeting NOVEMBER 13 or 14, with the entire crew. You will be receiving maps, call sheets, and filling out paperwork for the production. CESAR will finally be in town and we will discuss all three shooting days and pickup/drop off of rentals. The cast is set and EVOLUTION EFFECTS has begun working on the make up for THE CHAMP and THE BRUTE. Everyone will be receiving an email update soon. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.... Here is the cast so far. I have contacted two really great actors to play THE BRUTE'S TRAINERS and hope their schedules allow them to join our cast. I couldn't be more happy with everyone and am very glad our paths crossed. THE CAST CONTACT SHEET should be emailed out to the HEADS in need by tonight and THE YOUNG MAD SCIENTIST will begin casting this weekend. THE CAST will be contacted by this weekend to start discussing rehearsal times. THANKS TO EVERYONE!
